The Spa at 500

The Spa At 500 is a wellness center offering therapeutic and relaxation massage, acupuncture, and beauty treatments. We can also host your event or bring massage therapy to your home or office.

The Spa is the home of the Art of Massage, Central New York's premier massage therapy practice, founded in 1997.

We believe that dealing with stress in healthy ways is a key to health, longevity, and happiness. Our menu of massage treatments can be customized to meet your needs. Our house also includes a seven person therapeutic Jacuzzi tub, and a redwood sauna for you to enjoy before and after your massage. The elegance of the setting and the quality of our experienced massage therapists combine for an experience you won't forget. The Spa is also home to Goode Looks Salon, offering a full range of hair styles, nail treatments, and facials, and Goode Chi, featuring acupuncture with Annette Burden.

Frequently massage is categorized as "alternative medicine". I've never been quite comfortable with the term, but I understand how it's used. I'm more inclined to use the term "complimentary medicine", because we frequently work on patients in conjunction with other practitioners, including surgeons, chiropractors, nutritionists, physical therapists, and rheumatologists. Q: How do I get the certificate?

A: We make it easy. You can stop in to pick it up, or we can send it to you via email or the US Postal Service, if time allows. We take Mastercard, Visa, checks and cash, and you can make your payment in person at 500 West Onondaga Street, online by clicking SpaGifts on our home page, or on the phone by calling 315-475-9164.

If you order online, you can send us a note saying how you would prefer that the gift be shipped, on what date, and to whom. Or call the desk at 315-475-9164 and leave your special instructions.

Q: How long are they good for?

Unlike some other places, our SpaGifts never expire. This building has been here since 1886, and we're not going anywhere. But there's no reason to wait - have your loved one call and schedule their massage as soon as they get the certificate!
